This position does not require any past experience! To become a Pest Control Service Technician, it is required to be State certified in Commercial Core and 7A. Paid training will be provided, the cost of the test to get certified will be covered, and all future training/education to continue the certification will be paid as well by All Seasons Pest Control!

• Paid training, including extensive field training (1-3 Months) and certification

Daily responsibilities include (Being detail-oriented and providing exceptional customer service is imperative in this roll):

• Performing indoor and outdoor applications for clients.
• Interacting with clients and explaining service features and benefits.
• Following scheduled routes, communicating with office staff and managers and maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Delivering 5-star customer service.
• Maintaining equipment, vehicle, and personal safety equipment in clean and working order.
• Utilizing technology to manage appointments and maintain client records.
• Turning in Route/Time Sheets daily for payroll/production purposes.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit while driving from one account to another and talk to clients. The employee frequently is required to walk, stand, use hands handle objects/tools/equipment/wildlife, reach with hands and arms and stoop/ kneel/ crouch/crawl under or over objects.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move over 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Pests don’t always live in nice places and that’s where we do our work. But don’t worry, we’ll prepare you with all you need to do the work as safely and as comfortably as possible.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and can be regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions.
• You’ll sometimes be working around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights , fumes, dust, and chemicals- we’ll train you how to handle all of these conditions safely.
• This is kind of a no-brainer — you’ll be around animals and insects.
• You’ll have to be okay with working in tight, confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways — like you might find in crawl spaces. We work where the critters live.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and pass a motor vehicle record search.
• Must have person vehicle to ensure the company vehicle is not being driven after working hours.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be willing to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings.
• Some basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
