Position Overview
We are seeking a pharmacist to support our outpatient opioid treatment program by preparing take-home medication doses for patients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a well-organized, supportive environment and values autonomy, work-life balance, and professional collaboration.
Schedule:
- PRN / Contract Role
- 1–2 days or evenings per week
- Approximately 1 hour of on-site work per visit
- Additional hours may grow as patient census increases
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all pharmacy operations in accordance with State/Federal laws and professional standards
- Prepare and pre-pour take-home doses for patients
- Ensure accurate dispensing, documentation, and compliance
- Maintain safe, organized pharmacy workflows
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
Experience:
- Minimum one year of pharmacist experience preferred
Licensure:
- Active Virginia Pharmacist License in good standing
