Job Description
SpineSearch is seeking a physician assistant to work alongside a Pain Medicine Physician at a growing Spine and pain practice in Palm Beach County.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care and Evaluation : Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Interventional Procedures : Assist in or independently perform minimally invasive pain management procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and trigger point injections under the supervision of a physician.
- Medication Management and Education : Prescribe and manage medications, including opioids and non-opioid alternatives, while providing patient education on treatment goals, risks, and benefits of interventions and medications.
- Collaborative Care and Documentation : Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintain detailed, accurate medical records.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified and Florida-licensed Physician Assistant (PA)
- Experience in pain management preferred
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
- Flexible schedule required
