We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our Power Construction Generator Technicians are responsible for:

• Performing preventative maintenance & repairs on rental power generation equipment
• Performing start-up and warranty work on rental generator equipment
• Managing rental fleet including organization, material handling, shipping and receiving
• Safely delivering and picking up of rental generator units
• Processing required paperwork in a timely and complete manner
• Responsible for parts inventory on service truck
• Responsible for the care, cleanliness and upkeep of truck maintenance
• Maintaining vehicle maintenance logs
• Participating in a 24/7 emergency on-call service for our customers
• Providing recommendations and develop strategies on how to improve quality and quantity of services provided to our customers
• Identifying problems and provide alternative courses of action
• Must own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the Company or purchased via tool allowance

Construction Equipment Technician Requirements:

• Must own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the Company (tool allowance also provided)
• DOT Medical Card
• Technical degree or certifications desirable
• Generator experience preferred
• Military, EGSA, or factory certification highly desirable
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Able to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics
• Knowledge of A/C D/C circuits and electrical principles
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Clean driving record; insurable with the company insurance carrier.
• Must be able to pass a background check and periodic drug screens.
