Process Engineer(Dairy)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the process design, operation and implementation
• To improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability
• Ensure all startup activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards
• Report regularly on project progress, including financial performance and key milestones
• Propose, develop and implement solutions for process improvements
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
• To provide guidance and support to the Production Manager and Production Supervisors
• To assist in the development of processing and changeover plans
• To work with the Production Manager to make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
• Oversee procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• To prepare and review project proposal, studies and technical reports
• Support or lead continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Fishbone, 5-Why, DMAIC, process mapping, etc

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 3 plus years of experience in Process Engineering
• Certification in Six Sigma
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong understanding of dairy processing equipment, technologies, and best practices
• Continuous improvement and lean tools
• Implement manufacturing processes
• CAD assembly drawing
• Perform process analysis
• Kaizen improvement
• Proven work experience in process engineering
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in process simulations
• Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
