YOUR ROLE

• Analyze state-of-the-art and future trends for battery design.
• Create computational efficient models including Henkel’s product structural and thermal performances to predict battery cells and battery packs behavior.
• Execute simulations as part of new Henkel’s product specification and development process using the models created.
• Contribute to the design and specification activities with the knowledge gained from the simulations.
• Participate in characterization tests that create data for the modeling process and validate the completed models.
• Collaborate with OEM design centers.

YOUR SKILLS

• PhD degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, physics or a related discipline with a focus on modeling and simulation.
• Knowledge of modeling techniques for simulating battery cells, modules, packs and thermal systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work in global team.
  

The salary for this role is $74,300.00 - $105,200.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
