Job Description

Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Production/Quality Manager for our client in Oak Park, MI on a temp to hire or long term temporary basis.

Pay Rate: $40.86 hour – $48.07 hour

Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations to ensure production meets customer orders and releases
• Supervise the production ( 7 Assemblers) floor to confirm staffing is in place for manufacturing needs
• Oversee complete operations for daily builds and outputs
• Enforce quality processes and procedures to achieve successful product outcomes
• Monitor and track quality on the floor through employee adherence to processes and standards
• Drive continuous improvement of plant processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
• Handle staffing decisions, including hiring and termination, to meet production demands

Team Leadership & Support:

• Coordinate daily activities, ensuring the team achieves safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Organize work assignments and break schedules for Operators throughout the shift
• Work alongside the team, filling in during breaks and absences to operate equipment safely
• Provide on-the-job training to team members and maintain accurate training records
• Monitor and troubleshoot production equipment, making adjustments and repairs to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
• 5- 10 years of experience as a Production/Quality Manager
• Proven experience providing on-the-job training and task guidance to team members
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
