Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Take the lead in setting project priorities, identifying risks, and crafting proactive mitigation plans with cross-functional teams, all while ensuring tight deadlines are met.
• Build and track project schedules with precision, working closely with functional teams to streamline workflows and keep data up to date in the project management system.
• Steer project status meetings, address risks head-on, resolve challenges with your team, and escalate issues to key stakeholders when necessary to keep everything on track.
• Drive the development and maintenance of key project milestones, overseeing production processes and ensuring all workflows are efficient, documented, and aligned with the project timeline.
• Partner with two senior managers to tackle a range of project-related tasks, helping them stay organized, on track, and focused on meeting deadlines.

Qualifications of the Project Manager:

• College degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in project management, ideally in publishing or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage timelines and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ability to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with ease.
