Project Manager – Commercial Mechanical HVAC
A leading commercial construction company in Central Houston is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial mechanical HVAC projects, particularly in healthcare construction. This is a key leadership role overseeing all phases of mechanical/HVAC projects to ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial HVAC projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to meet project goals
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical sketches
- Oversee installation procedures for HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Ensure quality control, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to schedules and budgets
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience managing commercial mechanical HVAC projects ( required )
- Proven experience in healthcare construction ( required )
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration products, equipment, and installation procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and shop drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background, criminal, and drug screening
