A globally leading technology company is looking for a motivated Retail Logistics Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage logistics operations for store development and new product launches, ensuring financial, service, and schedule targets are met. You will work cross-functionally with teams such as Visual Merchandising, Marcom, Development, and Facilities to deliver flawless execution. Responsibilities:

• Develop, influence and execute project logistics plans for store builds and fleet-wide rollouts

• Forecast, analyze and meet cost, schedule & compliance requirements

• Carrier performance in planning & execution of project deliverables

• Freight cost management, audit, benchmarking and rate negotiations

• Manage global logistic roll outs to meet project schedule and cost targets

• Publish, maintain and enforce the vendor route guide

• Inspect and audit project sites and warehouses for readiness and compliance to company's requirements

• Develop operational plans to support pilots and project roll outs from select stores to entire fleet

• Create project scope documents to be used in the Logistics bidding process

• Onboard new vendors for logistics

• Develop and enforce standards, guidelines and policies for packaging, documentation, communications, reporting, etc.

• Conduct RFP/RFQ activities to support projects and ongoing operations

• Select and manage carriers’ performance to set goals and objectives

• Administer carrier contracts and rate agreements

• Review material vendor agreements for best practices in incoterms, logistics

• Develop and implement innovative solutions for special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree

• 8-10 years logistics industry experience

• Excellent communication, organizational, cross functional/collaborative, and analytical skills

• Strong Project Management experience required

• Must be able to travel, and support teams in multiple time-zones

Technical Requirements:

- Multi-modal, domestic/international/local transportation

- Warehouse operations

- Understanding of incoterms, HTS, DG, export/import requirements

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months (with a possibility to extend to 18 months)

Work Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)

Pay range: $ 57.00 - $ 70.00 (DOE)
