Are you ready to work in one of Alaska’s most beautiful destinations while delivering exceptional guest experiences? Icy Strait Point is seeking enthusiastic Sales/Cashiers to join our team and help create unforgettable memories for our guests.

What You’ll Do:
As a Sales/Cashier, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining outstanding guest service, generating sales, and keeping our store operations running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Staying informed about product knowledge, promotions, and advertisements.
• Merchandising, maintaining displays, and processing inventory.
• Accurately completing sales transactions at the POS register.
• Supporting store cleanliness and loss prevention efforts.
• Communicating guest needs to management.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking team members who bring enthusiasm and commitment to providing top-notch guest service. Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, kneel, squat, lift up to 40 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in a remote, rural community and adapt to unique conditions such as inclement weather or unheated buildings.
• Comfort traveling by small plane or ferry to and from Hoonah, Alaska.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during the season.
