We are working with an established Food Company based in Des Moines, WA. They are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their team in return for pay in the range of $120.000 - $140,000 base salary plus bonus opportunities along with excellent employment benefits which include Healthcare, Vision and Dental insurance, PTO, and 401k.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, review and report on the business development division’s strategy and results including revenue budget forecast, client mix, pipeline management and product development
• Implementing short- and long-term business plan and actions
• Responsible for positioning, presenting, collaborating a strategy with the customer
• Assist R&D & Commercialization on innovation as well as recipe development based on customer strategy
• Maintaining and expanding customer relationships, ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service
• Manage the activities and performance of the sales team members, the client service department and the R&D team
• Retain and profitably grow volume in units and dollars, as well as profitability through proactive management of accounts
• Serve as the primary liaison with other team leads both internally and inter-divisionally to establish smooth working relationships, communication channels and business development implementation strategies
• Compose internal/external collateral and presentations to further develop business opportunities and enhance organization’s profile in the marketplace

Qualifications

• 5+ years working as a Sales Manager in manufacturing
• 3+ years managing a team of Sales Engineers
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; able to learn new programs
• System expertise to understand and develop pricing models and the ability to analyze profitability across product sets.
