Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Bringing your mechanical expertise and creativity to complex design challenges across diverse manufacturing environments. Take ownership of engineering projects from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of new products and assemblies
• Create cost and time estimates for prototypes and production parts
• Design with a focus on sheet metal, castings, extrusions, and plastic molding
• Perform FEA/CFD simulations to validate mechanical performance
• Redesign existing products for improved durability and manufacturability
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers on technical solutions
• Develop and execute test plans (DATP) for product validation
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D modeling of complex assemblies
• Strong understanding of materials, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; IFS or Acumatica a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Work Environment:
• Office and light manufacturing setting
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and operate standard tools and equipment
• Occasional work in non-climate-controlled areas; PPE required
