Our team has the exciting energy of a start-up doing big things, we’ve grown over 400% in the last five years, along with a true sense of community that stems from hopping in the trenches with one another so that we can walk alongside our clients on their cancer journeys. Being a PRGer isn’t for everyone. Being surrounded by cancer every day changes you. But we’d argue for the better. At PRG we are constantly reminded of just how precious every day is so we love big, appreciate the little things and show up for one another.

PRG is hiring a dynamic and driven individual to be the Executive Director - Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee who will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing donors, attracting new donors and securing funding so that PRG can open a new region in Cleveland and serve even more people with breast and gynecological cancer.

  • Attract new donors to PRG by networking and also overseeing a development team employee focused on telling the PRG story to bring in new donors.
  • Develop and help implement a strategic fundraising plan to expand PRG services to Cleveland, Ohio.
  • Collaborate with leadership, team members and external volunteers and constituents on different fundraising initiatives including Ignite The Fight Galas and other PRG specific fundraising initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success record in sales or fundraising to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred and 3 to 5 years of experience building prospective donor/client pipelines and cold calling.
  • Experience in the constant movement of prospects towards closure (from annual donors and major gift donors) preferred.
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively engage with donors, volunteers, clients, service partners and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, set and realize goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to readily multi-task and pivot as needed.
  • Proactive and results-driven team player with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, working environment, where collaboration and individual contributions are a key to success—especially for those who have an entrepreneurial spirit.
