Director of Manufacturing Operations

QLM Search are partnering with a Global Packaging Group, to recruit for a Director of Manufacturing Operations who will lead multiple sites in their US business. Reporting to the Board you will be part of the leadership team responsible for driving best in class operational performance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a team of Managers responsible for manufacturing, engineering, technology and supply chain activities.
• Full responsibility for the supply chain, including strategic and operational management of all manufacturing plants
• Driving the simplification of production processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of Lean methodology
• Building integrated processes in supply chain by working with all functions in the Packaging Group and tracking performance through effective KPIs, budgeting and forecasting

This Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations position will be matched to those with Senior Operations Leadership experience which has been within the Food, Beverage, Packaging or CPG markets.

You will have implemented Lean processes or operational excellence across multiple sites.

You must have strong hands-on plant development experience and the ability to lead and motivate a large team combined with a strategic approach to implementing innovation and technology to drive operating performance.
