Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX

Compensation: Up to $150,000 annually + 15% performance-based bonus

Schedule: Full-time

Overview:

Our client are a locally owned, academic health system dedicated to serving San Antonio, Bexar County, and South Texas with excellence, compassion, and innovation. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead a high-profile facilities operation. This role will be based in San Antonio, TX with regular presence required on site. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and demonstrated experience managing engineering and maintenance teams in a corporate or campus-style environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of all building systems across a multi-facility corporate campus
  • Manage a union workforce with a strong understanding of labor contracts, grievance procedures, and workforce scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and corporate operational policies
  • Drive cost efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and capital improvement planning
  • Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring service delivery excellence
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on space planning, business continuity, and special projects
  • Track and report on KPIs, maintenance schedules, and budget performance to senior leadership
  • Lead by example in fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and client satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive facilities management experience in a large commercial or institutional setting
  • Technical degree (engineering, facilities management, or similar) or equivalent work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls
  • Financial acumen with experience managing operational and capital budgets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • CMMS and building automation systems (BAS) proficiency preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary up to $150,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity of 10% based on performance
