Senior Financial Analyst | Make an Impact with Anglicotech!

We seek a Senior Financial Analyst who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. We manage Procure to Pay and overall sustainment globally through the Marine Corps Logistics ERP and support the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) integration for service financial management.

Location:

• This position is located ON-SITE in Albany, GA, with the possibility of remote or hybrid for those exceptionally well-qualified individuals.

Salary

• This position offers a salary range of $110,000-$175,000 , commensurate with education, experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts receivable that have been outstanding for more than 60 days, including analyzing them to determine the validity of these balances.
• Address accounts payable for more than 60 days to determine the validity of these balances.
• Correcting financial abnormalities using a systematic approach to identify, investigate, and remedy financial discrepancies or irregularities.
• Correcting dormant open obligations through reconciliations and adjustments.
• Conduct financial statement reviews/reconciliations.
• Evaluate and document internal controls.
• Document and assess potential misstatements and deficiencies.
• Conduct data Analysis/Remediation across the universe of financial transactions.
• Provide interpretive and analytical perspectives on financial transactions and program execution.
• Compile data remediation plans and corrective actions for transactional data discrepancies.
• Develops and formats content to provide program and financial managers with various data relative to funds status.
• Review and assist with reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and responses as assigned.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Review General Ledger accounts and identify negative trends; recommend corrective action.
• Advise on Trial Balance/General Ledger Account abnormal conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with the development of required documentation in support of Journal Voucher for submission to the Comptroller or higher for signature; review all supporting documentation IAW regulation and policy.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required.
• An active US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years of progressive, relevant DoD experience.
• Minimum Education: Four (4) year degree in accounting or business management-related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum Certification: One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM, CDFM/CDFM-A, or DoD level III Financial Management .

Preferred Additional Skills:

• An understanding of DoD Acquisition Process and equipment life cycle support functions
• An understanding of OSD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and use of Business Process Narratives across multiple procurement and order functions utilized in DoD and the public sector.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
