THE OPPORTUNTIY Continued growth in our SAP Practice has created a unique opportunity a Senior SAP HCM Analyst to join our team. In this crucial role, you will provide expert-level support for our clients’ SAP ECC environments. You will use your deep and broad expertise as an analyst to serve our clients across configuration, issue resolution, custom programming and advanced testing within SAP modules.
WHAT YOU WILL BE GOING - Configure SAP ECC environment across multiple modules including Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Benefits Administration (BN),
- Address support requests, resolving hard errors and unexpected behavior of both standard and custom system elements.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues.
- Develop detailed functional specifications to support new work requests requiring custom programming.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and document necessary changes.
- Execute various stages of testing including scenario building, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, Simulation, and Parallel Testing as required.
- Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance across all phases.
- Manipulate data files, handle various delimiters, convert date formats, and manage other data nuances.
- Maintain a general understanding of SAP Security Roles, Business Intelligence Reporting, ECC Portal, and Employee Self Service (ESS) functionalities.
- Apply knowledge and hands on skills to support and enhance SAP system operations.
WHAT YOU BRING FOR SUCCESS - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 7+ years’ experience as an SAP consultant or in similar role
- Extensive experience with SAP ECC modules including OM, PA, BN,
- Proven ability to configure SAP environments and handle complex issue resolution.
- Strong skills in writing functional specifications and performing advanced testing.
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting using tools such as Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP Security Roles, BI Reporting, ECC Portal, and ESS.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Public Sector Experience: State, Local, and or K12
