Key job responsibilities
We are looking for software engineers who thrive in an environment that fosters innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will:
- Architect and develop large-scale distributed systems that power smart targeting and recommendation engines for AHS.
- Collaborate with machine learning scientists to build propensity models that personalize healthcare recommendations based on user behaviors and predictive analytics.
- Implement AI-driven SEO strategies, improving how AHS services and products rank and perform in search engines, using advanced LLMs to generate highly relevant content.
- Design and optimize the system architecture for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all Amazon platforms.
- Drive innovation by continually experimenting with new algorithms, data pipelines, and emerging technologies to improve targeting accuracy and system intelligence.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and play a key role in shaping the team’s technical vision and roadmap.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
