Our engineers are writing the white papers that their peers are reading. The R&D group works on: distributed computing, next generation networking, information assurance, information management, intelligent systems, and reliable computing.

Architecture Technology Corporation (ATCorp), established in 1981, is a privately held company with offices in Minneapolis, MN (Headquarters) , Washington, DC, Ithaca, NY and San Jose, CA. ATCorp provides engineering services, technology research and development and software products for projects requiring state-of-the-art products and technology.
The Research and Development (R&D) Division applies advanced engineering techniques and methodologies from the fields of network protocol engineering and security for wired, wireless, and mobile ad hoc networks, endpoint monitoring and security, information management and assurance, and digital forensics, combined with expertise in C, C++ and Java, to meet our customer's demands for high-performance, high-reliability, real-time systems.
This Software Engineer position is located in Minneapolis, MN. This R&D group specializes in the design, development & implementation of networking tools.

As a member of our team, you will design, develop, and demonstrate innovative computing and communications technologies for mission-critical applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Eletrical Engineering or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Successful candidate will have experience in:
- One or more programming languages (Java, C, C++, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Hardware/software interfaces and protocols (low-level device and bus protocols)
- Linux kernel or drivers projects
- Systems engineering
- Reverse engineering
Job Functions:
- Support the full software development life cycle development (requirements gathering through design, development, test and maintenance)
- Quickly learn and apply cutting-edge technologies

Abilities Required
- Self-starter, able to drive projects to completion in circumstances where little guidance and support is available
