Position Overview: Senior Product Manager of Data Insights

As a Senior Product Manager of Data Insights, you will be a vital member of our innovative build team, responsible for designing a cutting-edge platform for our Health & Benefits customers. In this role, you will lead the vision and delivery of data insights, generating actionable content, orchestrating teams, managing ambiguity, and driving impactful outcomes. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, architects, and business leaders, focusing on developing solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create compelling data analytics solutions for partners and customers.
- Conduct end-user interviews, focus groups, and testing to ensure solutions meet user needs.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor offerings to shape strategic direction.
- Work with data scientists and engineers to translate complex concepts into user-friendly products.
- Assemble data sets and pilot insights and visualizations based on customer feedback.
- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business lines to understand needs and align with organizational priorities.
- Employ Agile methodologies to refine product backlog, create roadmaps, and plan releases.
- Engage with the team to manage Agile artifacts and prioritize decision-making.
- Assess features and costs to determine product viability and timelines.
- Mentor and develop team members, sharing your passion and enthusiasm for the work.

Qualifications:

- 7-10 years of experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Background in healthcare or startup environments strongly preferred.
- Proven experience launching and scaling products in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles and data structures.
- Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide self-organizing teams.
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the team and facilitate discussions.
- Capacity to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring junior product managers is a plus.
- Familiarity with HSA, FSA, HRA, JSA, and COBRA products preferred.
- Willingness to provide and accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to work occasional overtime.

Work Environment:

This role may involve prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
