Role Overview: Senior Product Manager - Accountholder Experience
As part of our innovative team, you will lead the design of a state-of-the-art platform for our Health & Benefits customers. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping the User Experience vision and ensuring delivery excellence by creating actionable content, orchestrating team efforts, managing uncertainties, and driving impactful outcomes. You'll work closely with engineers, designers, architects, and business leaders, all focused on developing a solution that delights our users and adds real value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create compelling account holder experiences across various channels, including online platforms, mobile tools, IVR, customer service interactions, and promotional/educational content.
- Conduct user interviews, focus groups, and user testing to ensure our solutions meet and exceed accountholder needs.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor offerings to inform our strategy and deliver quick value to the business.
- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and business results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and different business units to understand needs, constraints, risks, and alignment with our organizational goals.
- Work with the team to implement Agile methodologies, focusing on product backlog refinement, roadmaps, and release planning.
- Manage Agile artifacts (e.g., Product Roadmap, Backlog, Release Plan) to aid prioritization and decision-making.
- Evaluate features and costs to determine the best course of action for product development.
- Mentor and inspire others by sharing your passion for the work and helping to develop professional skills within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
- Experience in the Health Care sector or startups is highly desirable.
- Proven success in launching and scaling products.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Self-directed with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules.
- Excellent leadership skills to gain respect and guide the creation of self-organizing teams.
- Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, and burn down metrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the team and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage stressful situations with composure.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior product managers.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to provide constructive guidance to others.
- Familiarity with HSA, FSA, HRA, JSA, and COBRA products is preferred.
- A commitment to continuous improvement through learning about modern product management best practices, UX design, and user research techniques.
- Availability for occasional overtime.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
