Job Description

IDR is seeking a Statistician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This role involves supporting marketing analytics and modeling efforts within a data-driven environment focused on targeting and customer engagement. The team specializes in advanced statistical techniques and machine learning to enhance campaign effectiveness without the need for relocation or sponsorship.

Position Overview for the Statistician:

• Design, build, and implement predictive models to identify the most profitable prospects across various business channels.
• Perform model validation and back testing to ensure robustness and accuracy of predictive analytics.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can optimize marketing and customer engagement strategies.
• Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning to develop response, premium, and risk models for targeted marketing efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable business decisions and recommendations.

Requirements for the Statistician:

• MS/PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field (PHD preferred).
• 2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on statistical modeling or analytics role, ideally in marketing analytics or customer analytics.
• Strong foundation in statistical methods with experience constructing predictive models end-to-end.
• Experience working with messy, real-world datasets and explaining analytical results clearly.
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS Programming, and familiarity with model deployment considerations such as monitoring and model refreshes.
