Essential Functions:

• Handle and maintain the flow of inventory in the warehouse
• Operate barcode scanner
• Perform basic tag and paperwork functions with high accuracy to ensure integrity of pallet movement and food safety traceability
• Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion
• Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor
• Properly select / load / inspect / sort products per supervisors’ instructions/guidance
• Assist in general clean-up of the warehouse throughout the day
• Operate standup forklift and electric pallet jack as required
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Prior experience safely operating stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks, and understanding general warehouse operations
• Able to work in a cold environment with temps ranging from 34 degrees to 58 degrees
• Must wear safety steel-toe shoes & protective eyewear
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Experience using RF Scanners, WMS
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate verbally and in written

Work Schedule:

• Sunday to Friday with Saturday and another weekday off
• Start at 8:00 am until work is finished
• 40 – 45 hours per week

Compensation:

• Hourly rate $19.00
