Vallum is delighted to be working with one of "the premier engineering firms". With 11 offices spread across the length and breadth of America, they have a strong focus on delivering high-impact infrastructure projects.

Their spans covers multiple sectors, including Airports , where they design and develop critical systems that enhance the efficiency and safety of transportation hubs. Tackling complex large-scale CapEx projects, valued up to $500M . An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Development Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical management and oversight for both existing and new projects, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with the client’s needs.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and clients, managing relationships and representing the company's best interests.
• Lead structural modeling, analysis, and design for various materials, including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry, with a focus on large infrastructure projects.
• Conduct condition assessments and oversee structural evaluations for long-term integrity and safety.
• Manage projects with values ranging from $50M to $500M , ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Take on a leadership role in structural design and construction management, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional registration (PE/CCM/PMP) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural development engineering and at least 3-5 years in project management roles.
• Expertise in structural analysis, modeling, and design of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures.
• Proven experience managing high-value CapEx projects, particularly in the airport sector or similar large-scale infrastructure.
• Ability to meet worksite security requirements, including passing state and federal background checks.
