Superintendent – Commercial Construction (Ground-Up Focus)

Location: Sarasota, FL

About the Role:

We’re seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead and manage commercial ground-up construction projects across Florida. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values quality craftsmanship, and enjoys building strong teams and relationships on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality execution.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to resolve issues and drive results.
• Travel to project sites across Florida as needed (typically within a few hours of Sarasota).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in general commercial construction.
• Proven success managing ground-up projects (retail, office, healthcare, hospitality, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within Florida for project assignments.
• Statewide (Florida) – Project-Based (as needed with per diems and housing fully paid)
• OSHA certification and familiarity with Procore or similar project management tools preferred.
