🚀 Now Hiring: Technical Writers | Defense & Aerospace

We are seeking Technical Writers to join our high-performing team supporting advanced military systems. This role involves creating, editing, and delivering technical documentation for cutting-edge radar, sensor, and UAV platforms used in next-generation defense programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical manuals, procedure guides, test requirement documents, and operational specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, task leads, and instructors to deliver accurate, compliant documentation.
• Prepare illustrative materials (drawings, diagrams, charts).
• Conduct quality reviews and ensure adherence to military/civilian standards.
• Publish materials in various formats: page-based, interactive electronic, structured (HTML, XML, SGML).
• Perform Desktop Publishing tasks for reports, whitepapers, and other program documents.
• Research and compile technical data into clear, concise manuals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field, OR military operations/maintenance experience with radar, comms, electro-optics, or IT-based sensors.
• 2+ years’ experience with structured authoring tools (Arbortext, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office products.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technical writing experience.
• Knowledge of structured content management (XML, SGML, S1000D, DITA).
• Familiarity with Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE 100).
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance (highly preferred).
