Job Summary:

Long Wave Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. At Long Wave, we pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge products and services. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to determine test methods and parameters.
• Write comprehensive test plans and create detailed test cases.
• Design and deploy tailored assemblies in collaboration with design engineers to support test requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance and performance tests using approved testing procedures.
• Identify and remedy test procedure errors, streamlining testing processes.
• Record discrepancies, collect forensics, and report findings to the design team.
• Train and mentor test team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Ensure all tests and procedures comply with company and industry standards.
• Prepare test reporting artifacts for internal review and customer use.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer.
• Familiarity with testing tools, including FRACAS.
• Knowledge of DoD SETR processes.
• Proficient in diagramming software, including Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD. Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage projects effectively.
• Excellent technical writing skills.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret (TS/SCI desired)

• This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
