Overview

The Vendor Recovery Representative is responsible for billing vendor amounts due for depletion allowances and reimbursement of other expenses

Duties And Responsibilities

• Billing vendor amounts due for depletion allowances and reimbursement of expenses from multiple systems
• Update vendor contact details on vendor profile sheet
• Facilitate depletion allowance billing by inputting depletions data into vendor web portals
• Update vendor systems with detailed vendor recovery claims, including required backup
• Issue vendor accounts receivable statements and aging reports
• Track and respond to rejected vendor recovery requests
• Review and analyze vendor recovery billed and paid to minimize inconsistencies in gross profit and expenses
• Respond to vendor accounts receivable calls
• Work closely with internal teams to investigate vendor recovery concerns
• Work with branch personnel to ensure proper documentation is submitted with branch vendor recovery requests
• Suggest process improvements to maximize accuracy and efficiency
• Submit supplier expenses into respective portals for reimbursement
• Generate and save images of vendor recovery billings and backup documentation
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 3 years of experience
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
• Self-starter with good problem solving and communications skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance plus 1 year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the wholesale beverage alcohol industry
• Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
  
  

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
