Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our treatment facility operations. The Plant Manager will provide leadership to drive all facility functions, maximizing revenue and profit while ensuring excellent customer service, managing expenses, and adhering to safety and compliance requirements. The Plant Manager has full P&L responsibility, supervising plant and administrative employees, and maintaining operational excellence in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Plant Manager will direct activities across the business unit to ensure safety, compliance, and profitability.
* The Plant Manager will collaborate with Sales, Services, and Customer Solutions teams to enhance volume growth and pricing strategies.
* The Plant Manager maintains competitive awareness and responds to market changes effectively.
* The Plant Manager ensures staffing levels optimize productivity and capacity utilization.
* The Plant Manager manages training and scheduling of employees to meet operational and safety standards.
* The Plant Manager oversees treatment processes and ensures compliance with all procedural and regulatory standards.
* The Plant Manager manages administrative functions to ensure efficient billing, customer service, and financial accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
* At least three years of experience in waste water management or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in managing a team and handling budgetary responsibilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.
Working Environment:
* This position may involve working in varying weather conditions and dealing with strong odors.
* Office and field environment with some physical activities like light lifting and bending.
