Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in biological monitoring for construction projects
B.S. in Biology or a related field
Experience surveying for:
California Ridgway’s Rail
Black Rail
Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse
Western Snowy Plover
California Least Tern
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys and monitoring for sensitive biological resources and special-status species
Inspect work sites for compliance with resource agency permits
Coordinate with project team members, construction supervisors, and crew members
Provide environmental training to construction crews
Prepare daily field monitoring reports
