Role :Azure Data engineer
The opportunity is a remote
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks
Create and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata to support data processing and analysis
Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation
Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
Implement security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a data engineer, preferably with experience using Azure data services and frameworks
Solid knowledge of data processing languages such as SQL, Python, and Scala
Experience with data modeling and schema design
Strong understanding of parallel processing and data architecture patterns
Experience with modern data analytics, big data, or lakehouse architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Intermediate experience with the following tools and technologies: Azure Cloud, Databricks, Power BI Dataflows, PowerShell, Python, R
