Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive Business Manager to lead the day-to-day business operations and ensure cross-functional alignment across the organization. This role is critical in supporting the company’s growth by streamlining internal systems, improving operational performance, and driving accountability throughout the team. The ideal candidate is both operationally savvy and business-minded, with the ability to lead through systems, structure, and thoughtful collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily business operations across departments (e.g., finance, HR, marketing, production), ensuring smooth execution and strategic alignment.
  • Analyze and optimize workflows, internal processes, and resource utilization to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Support budgeting, financial tracking, and cost-control efforts in partnership with the finance team (including light QuickBooks support).
  • Support HR and compliance functions such as onboarding, time-off tracking, and employee file maintenance.
  • Help ensure consistent application of company policies and a positive, accountable workplace culture.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, contractors, and operational partners.
  • Provide executive-level support to leadership in decision-making, strategy implementation, and business planning.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Business Manager, Operations Manager, or Office Manager role with strategic responsibilities.
  • Strong financial literacy and working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple departments and drive forward solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and clearly document actions and outcomes.
