Cotera is building a platform that allows any business to automate anything with AI. We're starting with Customer Experience teams, where LLMs have radically changed the scope of what can be analyzed and automated.

About the role

We're looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to work directly with our founding team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to experience the full scope of building a high-growth startup while having outsized impact. The role demands strategic thinking, exceptional execution abilities, and the drive to identify and solve our most critical challenges. It's perfect for future founders who want to gain deep operational experience while working on cutting-edge AI technology.

The role is full time and in office, based in New York City.

What You'll Do

• Work with the founders to identify and drive execution of our highest-priority initiatives each week
• Act as a force multiplier for the founding team, taking ownership of critical projects
• Work across product, design, growth and customer success to remove blockers and accelerate
• Partner directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure our solutions meet them
• Drive improvements to our internal processes and operations

Your Background

• Track record of exceptional execution and project delivery
• Experience in fast-paced environments (startups, consulting, or similar)
• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with data
• Background in product, operations, strategy, or related areas
• Understanding of software development and AI/ML concepts is a plus
