Job Description

A busy, family-oriented household in McKinney, Texas is seeking a highly organized and proactive Family Assistant/Household Manager to provide comprehensive support in managing the home and family logistics. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of maintaining a warm and professional presence within a dynamic household with three school-aged children.

- Schedule

• Part-time: Minimum of 30 hours per week
• Monday–Friday, daytime hours (specific schedule to be confirmed with the family)
• Occasional flexibility requested for special events, school functions, or travel needs

- Primary Responsibilities

Household Management

• Maintain overall household organization, ensuring common areas remain tidy and functional.
• Oversee household operations, including vendor coordination, maintenance scheduling, and home project follow-up.
• Manage household inventory and ensure supplies are well-stocked
• Handle errands such as grocery shopping, returns, and dry cleaning.
• Coordinate family calendars, appointments, and after-school activities.
• Provide light meal preparation and kitchen organization.
• Manage household laundry and wardrobe care as needed

Family Support

• Assist with morning and afternoon routines when needed, including school drop-offs or pick-ups.
• Support the children’s schedules and organization of school and extracurricular materials.
• Serve as a reliable extra set of hands to help parents manage family logistics.

- Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (Household Manager, Family Assistant, or Nanny/Assistant hybrid)
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Professional discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Tech-savvy with experience managing calendars, lists, and shared apps
• Confident driver with a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and based in the McKinney/Frisco area

- Compensation
