Hearing Center Silver Spring is a community-focused clinic, and we are looking for a Hearing Instrument Specialistto join us in Silver Spring, MD. We are seeking an HIS with entrepreneurial spirit who will provide excellent care to our older pediatric and adult patients. A day in the life:

• Build rapport through counseling and instructing patients about their hearing loss and treatment plan.
• Conduct accurate hearing tests and evaluations for patients of all ages.
• Recommend, fit, and dispense proper hearing devices according to the patient’s needs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, service, and clean hearing aids and other amplification devices.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed and complete chart notes for each patient seen.

Qualifications:

• Hearing Aid Dispenser licensure as required by Maryland state law.
• Experience working with several hearing aid manufacturer software and device offerings.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales, and problem-solving skills.

Position Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
