Job Posting: Procurement Admin (Inventory Control)

Location: Long Beach, CA 90802

Pay Rate: $30-$32/hr

Duration: 6 months

Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Admin (Inventory Control) to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This key position involves supporting the Supply Chain department by assisting with order management, data entry, reporting, and vendor management to ensure the timely and efficient procurement of parts and materials. Key Responsibilities:

Order Management (Dealer O2s & Low Spend Vendors):

• Manage orders for over 50+ suppliers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing.
• Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders (POs) to maintain uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Assist Buyers with Data Entry & PO Management:

• Add new parts to the system as directed by buyers.
• Perform PO reconciliation and acknowledge orders in the system.
• Support with Supplier Score Card tracking and updates.

Reporting & Data Handling:

• Run and analyze weekly open order and receiving reports.
• Handle requests for new part additions (RANP), input pricing into Oracle, and support MRO PO conversion processes.
• Assist in setting up new suppliers in the system.

Impact:

• Ensure that tasks are completed accurately and timely to avoid severe impacts on customer fill rate and overall SCM performance.
• Prevent delays in POs and receipt of orders to mitigate potential backorders and customer dissatisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in XLOOKUP , VLOOKUP , Pivot Tables , Excel formatting , and formulas .
• Knowledge of Oracle system (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive tasks with precision.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
