Job Description

Residential Project Manager – Seattle, Washington (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Residential Project Manager (RPM) to lead residential solar projects from start to finish. The RPM will oversee project coordination to ensure timely, on-budget delivery, meeting client needs while exceeding expectations. The ideal candidate is a technical problem-solver with strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Handoff: Capture essential information during handoff from sales, establish installation schedules, and communicate timelines with customers.
  • Documentation: Work with internal teams to generate installation documents, assist with permitting, and ensure materials arrive on time.
  • Installation Team Management: Manage weekly activities of 2-3 installation teams, ensuring safety standards are followed and projects are scheduled efficiently.
  • Pre-Construction: Inspect roofs, sites, and electrical components, and adjust plans as needed. Educate clients on the installation process.
  • Construction: Maintain communication with clients during installation, monitor progress, and address issues to keep projects on track.
  • Post-Construction: Review job performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and facilitate the transfer of closeout docs, final payments, and manuals.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Project/Construction Management experience.
  • Solar and electrical experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across departments.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Gmail, Dropbox, MS Word, MS Excel, and SketchUp.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site visits.

Required Certifications:

  • OSHA 10 Certification (OSHA 30 required within 12 months).
  • NABCEP Certification preferred.
