Safety Manager – Columbia, SC

Our client, a leader in heavy civil site development, is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety across multiple projects, including infrastructure, utilities, reclamation, landfill, and mining work.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enforce safety programs in compliance with OSHA/MSHA standards
• Conduct training, inspections, and accident investigations
• Support field teams with safety orientations, hazard communication, and emergency plans
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure safe operations across job sites

What We’re Looking For:

• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations (or willingness to learn)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Background in heavy civil construction safety a plus
