Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager is a key member of the iXCells Biotechnologies commercial team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing channels, and content development, with a proven track record in the life sciences, biotech, or biopharma industry.

This role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies to generate and nurture leads, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment across initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate lead generation, scoring, nurturing, and qualification efforts to support sales development.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing strategies across multiple channels, including SEO, email, website, webinars, blogs, PPC, social media, press releases, trade shows, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, leveraging data to identify insights, optimize strategies, and maximize ROI.
  • Create and maintain website content, monitor traffic, and ensure alignment with scientific and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing playbooks and campaigns in collaboration with the commercial team, tracking performance to improve lead conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create marketing materials, including flyers, posters, and presentations, to support customer outreach efforts.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and assist in gathering market intelligence, sharing findings with management to inform strategy.
  • Manage internal and external resources to execute tasks that support the growth of iXCells Biotechnologies’ customer base.
  • Partner with vendors and service providers to execute marketing initiatives, including participation in networking events, conferences, and site meetings (~5% travel).
  • Translate sales objectives into measurable marketing KPIs and contribute to regular sales meetings.
  • Support the promotion and execution of company events, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.

Product Marketing Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing activities to support new product launches, including promotions, website updates, sales collateral, and communication with channel partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, sharing insights with management to guide product portfolio enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze product sales performance and propose marketing or sales promotions to support revenue growth.
  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with market trends, resources, and business goals.
  • Travel to tradeshows and customer sites as needed to support marketing and sales efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (experience in stem cell research or CRO services is a plus).
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the life sciences or biotech industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to management.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Marketing Suite) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Solid understanding of social media strategies and lead generation techniques.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is preferred.
  • Growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and performance improvement.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business needs.
