Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced Software DevOps Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize GitHub repositories for version control and collaboration.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operational tasks.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance our DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Certification in DevOps or relevant technologies is a plus.
