Job Title: Computing Architect 4
Hybrid – 1 day a week onsite
Duration: 5 months, possible FTE opportunity
Note: The candidate must have a US Person Status due to export control requirements.
Job Duties:
• Build development environments on new hardware and provide support during application development
• Provide direction to development teams on design principles to support high availability, performance, and application resiliency
• Build production systems and provide support through to go live
• Participate in ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivering continuous improvement
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of WAS systems
• Experience with database systems, particularly Oracle, for backend application support.
Required Skills:
• Certified IBM Deployment/Administration professional in Websphere
• 4+ years of experience with the development, Configuration, planning, deployment, administration and support of WAS Applications.
• Strong communication skills, technical discipline, initiative, and teaming attitude
