Role Summary

This self-starting individual will be responsible for analysis, administration and tracking of a wide range of corporate agreements in assisting the Contracts Administrator. S/he may be required to analyze and interpret special requirements, provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a repository and status of all documents.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Assist, redline, review, comment in the Administration of all corporate contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, customer contracts, master services agreements, purchasing agreements, statements of work and vendor agreements
  • Draft representation and certification documents associated with RFPs and RFQs, commercial, and governmental contracts.
  • Drafting, formatting, proof reading, and editing legal documents
  • Assisting the Contract Administrator with various operational and contractual functions
  • Proofreading statements of work to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Preparation of general correspondence, contracts, resolutions, memos, reports, or other such documents
  • Liaising with business units and customers in communications regarding resolutions of contract issues and disputes
  • Management and organization of corporate documents
  • Maintenance of - and Status reporting - of document repositories

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in contract/legal/business studies or the equivalent

Experience/Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing contracts in a professional services and software role and working with senior management teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of contract concepts, negotiation strategies, efficient administration and automation of contract processes.
  • Highly developed ability to succinctly articulate key concepts orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment serving multiple constituencies.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and analytical.
  • Must be a decisive, independent self-starter with strong interpersonal management skills who can maintain effective working relationships across departments and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines and resource constraints.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience as a paralegal (services centric) or software / services contract administrator desired
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be able to navigate in a Windows environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Total Compensation

  • Year 1 base salary $65,000 - $75,000
